KMC Consultancy, is a freelance partnership that offers training and advice to those involved in the provision of leisure management. Ken has worked with more than 150 Councils, many housing associations and several private sector companies on almost every aspect of leisure management. Professional posts he has held include chairman of ILAM's Parks, Places and Countryside Network and Vice President of ILAM. He is also a founder member of the Green Flag Award, and a member of the Joint Committe for Landscape Industries, a member of Encams and a Trustee with the Landscape Trust.

A well-known author he has published books that include 'Benchmarking and Performance Indicators for Best Value', 'Establishing Best Value', and 'Tender Evaluation'.
